Frequently Asked Questions
Color Factory is committed to your safety.
Color Factory has always maintained a world-class facilities team and cleaning procedures across each of our locations. Moving forward, we’re leading our industry by implementing additional safety protocols to ensure each employee and guest is safe. In Houston, we recommend face masks for all guests 3 years old and older regardless of vaccination status. Unvaccinated guests are required to wear a mask. In New York, guests 12 and older are required to show proof they have received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine authorized for emergency use by the FDA or WHO. Please click HERE to get more information about our safety protocols. If you already purchased a ticket, but feel sick, have tested positive for COVID-19, or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, contact us at email@example.com so we can reschedule your tickets for another date.
Along with your curiosity about color, you must bring your ticket (and someone 16 years old or older, if you are under 16 years old). We recommend face masks for everyone, regardless of vaccination status. Masks are required for anyone who has not been fully vaccinated against COVID-19. Branded face masks are available for purchase onsite.
Tickets are generally non-refundable and non-transferrable. However, if you feel sick, have tested positive for COVID-19, or have been in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org so we can reschedule your tickets for another date.
Our team will double check your ticket at the door. Once inside, you’ll register to access the photo booths throughout the exhibit and sign a required liability waiver.
Yes! And, you can take your time going through each room. However, we ask that you don’t revisit any areas you’ve already passed through. (One-way only!)
Color Factory is made with all audiences in mind. Children under the age of 16 must be accompanied by someone 16 years old or older. Some installations require looking or listening (rather than touching), so we ask that adults supervise accordingly. Wall text and our staff are there to guide you and ensure you experience all the colors.
Appropriate attire, including shoes and shirts, must be worn at all times. Color Factory is a casual, family environment. We ask you to use your discretion and common sense.
Attire that is not appropriate for Color Factory—and which may result in refusal of admittance or removal from the venue—includes but is not limited to:
Revealing clothing that exposes indecent or excessive portions of skin and may be viewed as inappropriate for a family environment
Clothing and/or visible tattoos with objectionable material (including obscene, sexual, violent, racist, discriminatory, or political language or graphics)
Please hold on to your hats (and cell phones)! Color Factory is not responsible for missing items. While we do have a lost and found, we cannot guarantee that your missing item will
be located. Please contact email@example.com for more details.
We encourage you to take as many photos as you like! That being said, please be considerate of others enjoying the exhibit. Tripods, external flashes and lights, excessive props, commercial or product shoots, media shoots, press interviews, and all professional video equipment are prohibited without advance approval and accompaniment from a Color Factory representative. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org for requests. To give you the option of putting your phone away and to help you appreciate the exhibits more fully, we’ve integrated photo booth stations throughout our space. Please note: despite our best efforts to keep these cameras & lenses clean, operational, and calibrated correctly, we do experience equipment failure from time to time. We can’t guarantee every photo station’s equipment at any given moment, so if you are worried about getting a particular shot please make sure to capture it on your personal camera as well.
We don’t have student discounts, but twice a month we bring in local schools from underserved neighborhoods. If you are a teacher or administrator at a school, you can apply for a classroom visit by contacting us at email@example.com. We will do our best to accommodate as space permits.
Color Factory is so thankful for the service of the US Armed Forces. We offer a 10% discount to any active, veteran, retired, or reservist personnel. Email us at firstname.lastname@example.org to access your code!
