Take a journey through 14 immersive art exhibits as stunning as they are colorful. Fun for all ages, Color Factory Chicago is the place for celebrations, reunions, or just a family day out! Our interactive art museum celebrates the many shades of Chicago – from the blue stripes of its iconic flag to the green pickles atop a Chicago dog.

Color Factory brings together artists and creatives to create immersive experiences that tell different stories about color. Each installation engages the senses to take you out of the everyday – breaking down walls, inspiring emotion, and reminding you what it means to slow down and be present.

Known for her large-scale and explosively vibrant public art, Walala uses the power of color and pattern to spark positivity.
Adrian Kay Wong
A graduate of The School of the Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC), Adrian’s murals portray everyday life, exploring the subtleties of the ordinary and often missed.
Liz West
West creates vivid environments by mixing luminous color and radiant light to heighten sensory awareness.
Edra Soto
Peer through Soto's interactive sculptures inspired by traditional Puerto-Rican architecture to catch glimpses of other realms.
Akilah Townsend
A South Side native, Townsend’s photography focuses on Black representation and uses storytelling to make her subjects feel seen.
Anne Patterson
Patterson's work explores the repeated use of a material to create a powerful visual that is larger than the sum of its parts.
Tomislav Topic
Topic's pieces use layers of color and pattern to simulate movement, playing with perspective to create a mesmerizing dynamic.

We’re located inside Catalog at Willis Tower. Please enter via Jackson Boulevard (south side of building), and take the escalator down to Lower Level 2. Find our ticketing kiosks to the left of the Sky Deck entrance.

The closest train stops are Quincy (CTA) and Chicago Union Station (Amtrak/Metra). Discounted parking (with validation) is available at Traders Self-Park (326 S. Wells / 329 S. Franklin) and Tower Self-Park Garage (211 W. Adams / 241 S. Franklin). Validation is available at Coat Check in Color Factory’s lobby.
