ARTISTS
Color Factory brings together artists and creatives to create immersive experiences that tell different stories about color. Each installation engages the senses to take you out of the everyday – breaking down walls, inspiring emotion, and reminding you what it means to slow down and be present.
Emmanuelle Moureaux
This Tokyo-based, French architect and designer is known for implementing vibrant colors in her designs.
Lakwena
Lakwena employs bright color and bold text to create large-scale murals that are “escape routes, afrofuturistic portals to utopia”.
Molly Young
A book critic at the New York Times, Young is also a published author and a contributing writer at the New York Times Magazine.
Kassia St. Clair
A writer, color expert, and cultural historian, St. Clair tells gripping stories about the overlooked and the everyday.
Spinderella
Born and raised in Brooklyn, Spinderella is a Grammy award-winning DJ and former member of the group Salt-N-Pepa.
Carnovsky
Francesco Rugi and Silvia Quintanilla, known as Carnovsky, produce layered artwork that reveals different scenes under colored light.
Diane Villadsen
Villadsen is a self-proclaimed color-obsessed photographer whose work explores surreal spaces and themes.
Christine Wong Yap
Wong Yap’s artistic experiments explore the dimensions of wellbeing relating to belonging, interdependence, and collaboration.
Abimaro
Abimaro is a London-based singer-songwriter with an eclectic sonic palette that is hard to box in.
Won McIntosh
McIntosh is a Queens-based writer whose work captures daily life in New York City.
Andrew Kuo
A painter, musician, and sculptor, Kuo creates complex, emotionally intricate infographic charts.
Jon Burgerman
Expressing creativity and having fun is key to Burgerman’s practice. He believes that simple creative acts can change the world.
